What are your products made of?

Our objects are shaped from plant-based bioplastic, derived from renewable resources such as corn starch. Some pieces are enriched with wood powder for a textured, matte finish, others with mineral fibres for greater mechanical strength. The exact material is stated on each product page.

Where are your products manufactured?

All our objects are made in France. Every piece is checked individually before packing and shipping.

Who creates your designs?

Our catalogue brings together original Quarks creations and pieces by independent designers, published and distributed under licence. Each designer is credited on the relevant product page.

What are the delivery times?

Dispatched within 1 to 2 working days. Mainland France: 2 to 3 working days. European Union: 4 to 6 working days. Switzerland and United Kingdom: 6 to 8 working days. All orders are tracked. Free delivery in mainland France on orders over €30.

Can I choose the color of my item?

Yes. Most of our objects come in several colourways, shown directly on the product page. The colour runs through the material rather than sitting on the surface, so it will not chip or fade.

Which bulb should I use with your pendant lights?

LED bulbs only, on an E27 socket. Halogen and incandescent bulbs run too hot and will deform the material. A 6 to 10 W LED is plenty for a living space.

Can I return an item?

Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to exercise your right of withdrawal. The item must be unused and in its original packaging. Return shipping is at your expense, and the refund is issued within 14 days of us receiving the parcel. Email quarksfrance@gmail.com to start the process.
